What cookies are
Cookies are small pieces of information stored by your browser. They can be used to keep a secure session active, remember workflow state and support essential website functions.
What we use
Braider Booking AI uses strictly necessary first-party session technology for login, account security, CSRF protection and continuity during secure booking or account workflows.
| Type | Purpose | Category |
|---|---|---|
| Session cookie | Keeps your secure server-side session linked to your browser. | Strictly necessary |
| Security state | Supports authentication, CSRF protection and secure account actions. | Strictly necessary |
| Microsoft Clarity (_clck, _clsk and related Microsoft storage where applicable) | Helps us understand page usage, clicks, scrolling and session behaviour so we can improve the website. | Optional analytics storage — only after consent |
| Google Analytics 4 (_ga and _ga_* cookies) | Measures page views, acquisition sources, website engagement and non-identifying sign-up funnel events. | Optional analytics — Google tag and storage only after consent |
Optional Microsoft Clarity and Google Analytics 4
We use Microsoft Clarity to understand how visitors use the public website. The Clarity tag loads in Consent Mode with analytics storage and advertising storage denied by default. Before you allow analytics, Clarity can operate only in its limited no-consent mode and does not set Clarity analytics cookies. Advertising storage remains disabled in our implementation.
If you choose to allow analytics, we send Clarity an analytics-storage consent signal and load Google Analytics 4 to measure page views, traffic sources and non-identifying website actions. The Google tag is not fetched before opt-in. We disable advertising storage, advertising personalisation and Google signals in the GA4 setup. If you reject analytics, Google Analytics stays unloaded and Clarity analytics storage remains denied. If you later withdraw consent, we disable further GA4 collection and attempt to clear first-party GA cookies; previously collected reports are not automatically erased. You can reopen Cookie settings from the footer to change your choice.
Stripe and third-party pages
If you move to a Stripe-hosted checkout, billing portal or connected-account onboarding page, Stripe may use cookies on its own domains under its own policies. Those cookies are controlled by Stripe.
Your analytics choice
Your analytics preference is stored locally in your browser. Because Google Analytics 4 is a newly added provider, previous Clarity-only acceptance does not carry over: you will be asked to consent again. An earlier rejection remains respected. You can change your preference at any time through Cookie settings in the footer. See our Privacy Notice for the purpose of analytics processing and provider privacy information.
Browser controls
You can remove or block cookies through your browser settings. Blocking essential session cookies may prevent login, booking management and other secure features from working correctly.
